Business Unit: Clever Academy – Head Office

The EducationUSA Advising Center, under the Public Affairs Section, U.S. Embassy in Hanoi, in cooperation with Clever Academy, seeks candidates for a ten-week GRE preparation course for university students and working professionals in Hanoi. All costs, including placement and final test fee, tuition and text books will be sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi. Application deadline is 11:59 P.M., Monday, October 2, 2017.

Program Overview

The objective of this EducationUSA Test Prep Course is to improve Vietnamese students’ applications to U.S. graduate programs by developing the skills and knowledge needed to maximize their standardized test scores. Classes will take place on Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and Sundays, from 9:00 – 11:00 am, over the span of ten weeks from October 18 to December 31, 2017 at Clever Academy, No.6, Son Tay St., Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. The courses will use the complete set of Clever Academy & Kaplan GRE study materials, and supplementary resources designed exclusively by the instructors. Students will also have access to Clever Academy’s Online Study Center during the course.

Selection Criteria

University students or working professionals between 18 – 35 years old;
Good undergraduate records (top 20% of one’s class);
Good English language level (this will be tested);

Eligible candidates without a valid GRE score will have to take a placement test. Placement tests will be organized on October 5, 6, and 7, depending on applicants’ availability. Final selection result will be announced on October 13, 2017.

A deposit of VND 2,000,000 will be required at the beginning of the course, and reimbursed upon successful completion of the course. Students must attend at least 80% of class hours in order to receive a certificate and be reimbursed the deposit fee.
